Not legal advice: To qualify for declaring bankruptcy you must: domicile in the UK; have incurred a majority of your debt will living in the UK; have enough money to pay the court fees (typically around £700). Then you must complete the Bankruptcy Petition (doc 6.27) and Statement of Affairs (doc 6.28) and present them in person to the County Court where you live. Read the instructions carefully and you will need to submit your forms in triplicate. You may need an appointment, so be sure to ring ahead.
