How do I balance a coin on a floating lemon
A coin cannot be balanced on a lemon in a glass of water without it falling off, because the coin is denser than the lemon. Cut a slit into the lemon, wedge a coin inside, and place the lemon into water. With a coin stuck in the lemon, the lemon will roll over to get into a more stable position. The coin will always remain at the bottom allowing the lemon to maintain its centre of gravity.
