How do you become a contestant on the cube?

Prospective contestants for the itv game show “The Cube” must submit an application to Objective Productions to get a chance to try for £250,000. However the application must be notable enough to warrant an audition. After the audition process, only a lucky few will face the cube.

Contact the programme’s production company Objective Productions at thecube@objectiveproductions.com to find out if they are accepting applications for the next season.

Timing is important if you want to try to be on the programme. Just because new episodes are airing, it doesn’t mean Phillip Schofield hasn’t actually been finished with the series for months.

For example, series 3 applications had a deadline of 18 November 2010. Auditions were held November and December in London, Newcastle, Leeds, Manchester and Bristol. The entire series of 9 episodes was scheduled to be filmed over 14 days in January 2011. A few months later, Series 3 of “The Cube” was originally broadcast during April, May and part of June 2011.

Simply put: broadcasting dates, filming dates, audition dates and application-submission dates may be months apart. Such as: the auditions for series 3 had been completed before series 2 had finished airing.

“The Cube” is filmed at Fountain Studios 128 Wembley Park Drive, Wembley HA9 8HP. The closest tube station is Wembley Park on the Jubilee and Metropolitan Lines, however not all Metropolitan trains make the stop.
