If i put £2:50 each way on a horse at 33 to 1 what do i win if it comes in?

Based on a bet of £2.50 Each Way (£5 Total Bet) on a horse priced at 33/1 in a 9 Runner handicap.

If the Horse won then both parts of your bet have won and your return would therefore be:

  • £82.50 being the profit on your win part of the bet. (33 x £2.5)
  • £16.50 being the profit on your place part of the bet. (33 x £2.5)/5

Your stake is also returned in full (£5).

Total return = £104.00; Actual Profit = £99.00

If the horse finished 2nd or 3rd then the win part of your bet has lost but the place part has won, your return would therefore be:

  • £16.50 being the profit on your place part of the bet. (33 x £2.5)/5

Your stake on the place part of the bet is also returned (£2.5).

Total return = £19.00; Actual Profit = £14.00
