"The Naked Chef", Jamie Oliver, is not known to be colour blind (the reduced ability to distinguish between certain colours). The 5'10" chef (born Jamie Trevor Oliver on 27 May 1975, Clavering, Essex) has, however, turned down many offers by magazines to pose nude.

Oliver's programmes air on television in over 40 countries, including the USA's Food Network. His specialty is Italian cuisine, as well as being known for creating dishes with fresh and organic ingredients.

Colour blindness is a usually inherited trait and more common in men, affecting about one male in 20. Far fewer women (about one in 200) than men are colour blind.
