While there is no concrete information published about the Everly Brothers, Phil and Don being gay or not sources suggest they were both married.
The Everly Brothers were among the most influential rockers of any era. They were inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame in 1986.
Their career spanned five decades charting around three dozen hits in their heyday from the late ’50s through the early ’60s. Some of their most notable songs are “Cathy’s Clown,” “Wake Up Little Susie,” “Bye Bye Love,” “When Will I Be Loved” and “All I Have to Do is Dream”.
Sadly, rock & roll lost one of its supreme harmony singers when Phil Everly, half of the Everly Brothers, died on Friday, 3 January 2014 at the age of 74. According to a report attributed to his wife Patti Everly, the cause was complications from chronic obstructive pulmonary disease; Everly was a longtime smoker. Read more here.
