Professional darts player Phil "The Power" Taylor was born Philip Douglas Taylor on 13 August 1960 in Burslem, Stoke-on-Trent. He will turn 52 years old in 2012.

Taylor, a right-handed darts player, won his first world title in 1990. He has become legendary in the sport, having been the first player winning more than £1 million in prize money.
