Side effects: dizziness, constipation, ejaculation problems, faster heart rate, headaches, itching, nausea, and vomiting. Finasteride (Proscar) treats prostate gland enlargement. Finasteride (Propecia) treats male pattern hair loss. Side effects: erection difficulties, decreased sex drive and semen volume, testicle pain, rash, itching, hives, and swelling of lips and face.
