What is deferance between catholic and prodistant
There are several differences between Catholics and Protestants. Protestants do not recognize the Pope as head of the church. Protestants do not accept the saints as having a special intercessory role for believers as Catholics do. Catholics believe the bread and wine actually turn into the body and blood of Jesus (transubstantiation) and Protestants believe that the Lord's Supper is primarily a memorial meal. Catholics believe the soul enters purgatory and Protestants believe it goes directly to heaven.
