What is irisitus infection of the eye

Not medical advice: Uveitis (or Iritis) is a swelling of the middle layer of the eye (the Uvea). The Uvea supplies blood to the Retina. In many cases the cause of Uveitis is unknown, but it has been linked to Rheumatoid Arthritis and Ankylosing Spondylitis. The most common form, Iritis, causes inflammation in the front part of the eye. Treatment includes dark glasses, eye drops, or steroid eye drops that dilate the pupil to relieve pain.
