what is the recipe for a traditional cornish pasty?

225 gm. plain flour, 115 gm. 225 gm. steak 2 or 3 potatoes, 1 piece turnip 1 onion,S&P. Sift the flour with the salt, rub in the fat, leave 30mins. Roll half pastry into a round about 5 mm. thick. Slice the potatoes thinly onto the center of round to form a base. Slice the turnip thinly over the potato, spread the beef on top. Add onion, season. Seal edge of pastry. Put on buttered paper &Bake at gas mark 6 for 30 minutes, then mark 5 for 30 mins.
