Who is fatima whitbread?
Fatima Whitbread is a former javelin thrower who won two Olympic medals; bronze in 1984 Los Angeles and silver in 1988 Seoul. She broke the world record with a throw of 77.44m at the 1986 European Championships. Whitbread became the World Champion in 1987, and also won the BBC Sports Personality of the Year award.
