The Longleat Safari Park is owned by The Marquess of Bath, Viscount Weymouth and The Trustees of the Longleat Estates and Longleat Enterprises Limited.

In 2010, the flamboyant 7th Marquess of Bath handed down the firm that owns his Longleat safari park, to his son, Ceawlin, Viscount Weymouth. Lord Bath has run Longleat Enterprises since he inherited the estate from his father, the 6th Marquess.

Longleat Safari Park opened in the grounds of Longleat House in 1966 and was the first drive-through safari park outside Africa.
