Who was the auther of the great gatsby
The Great Gatsby was written by Francis Scott Key Fitzgerald and published in 1925; he also wrote the novels: This Side of Paradise, The Beautiful and Damned, and Tender is the Night. He was born on 24 September 1896 in St. Paul, Minnesota and moved to New York after World War I; the character Nick Carraway was also from Minnesota and moved to New York after the war. Fitzgerald desired to have enough money and fame to win the heart of his future wife Zelda Sayre; not unlike Gatsby for Daisy.
