Who was the director of the BAFTAs that Russell Crowe beat up? And when was that?
After the 2002 BAFTA Film Awards, Russell Crowe verbally abused producer Malcolm Gerrie, because he was upset that his acceptance speech for winning Best Actor for A Beautiful Mind was cut short. Due to copyright issues and a lack of time, a poem Crowe recited in tribute to terminally ill Richard Harris was not aired.
Crowe was among the film tributes to Rolf Harris when he received the 2012 BAFTA Fellowship Award.
