Who won the turner prize art 2008
Since 1984 The Turner Prize has been awarded annually to a visual artist under age 50. Mark Leckey won the 2008 Turner Prize for his solo exhibition, "Industrial Lights and Magic". In 2009, Richard Wright won the prize for his golden fresco on Tate Britain's second room walls. Sound artist Susan Philipsz was the winner in 2010 for singing "Lowlands Away" under three Glasgow bridges. Martin Boyce won the 2011 Turner Prize for his installation, "Do Words Have Voices", a recreation of a park in Autumn.
