Why are the football club juventus named juventus and what does it it mean?

Juventus is from the Latin iuventus meaning youth. The name was chosen because the founders were all youths from the high school "Liceo Massimo D'Azeglio". Founded in 1897, it's the oldest FC in Italy (114 years old). Nicknames include Bianconeri (Black and White), La Vecchia Signora (The Old Lady), La Goeba, La Fidanzata d'Italia (The Girlfriend of Italy), Zebre (zebras), and Madama. Their home stadium is Stadio Olimpico di Turin.
