Why would black smoke come out of da outside flu of an oil boiler 4 heating?
If there is black smoke coming out of the flue or soot build-up, your oil boiler is not burning efficiently and may need servicing. Other signs your boiler may need servicing include a yellow or brown stain, a pilot light that blows out often, an increase of condensation on the windows, and a yellow instead of blue flame. During boiler service an engineer may clean the burner, pilot, flame supervision components; check connections, seals, and joints; and re-set burner operating pressure.
